Stretched to the inelastic limit,
My stress strain curve approaches the fracture point
There IS time for relaxing
But my mind is already on the floor.
I can't dig deeper down here,
anymore.
The load increases,
day by day the graph squeezes from both sides.
Everything feels necessary,
but nothing that matters seems to feel real.
The curse of a mind that can't forget facts,
Is a mind that can't let go of feelings of mediocrity.
A mind that can't forget the wonders of the natural world,
Simultaneously can't ignore their destruction.
What use is curiosity?
When all it reveals is what we stand to lose?
